Fürth/Germany, March 11, 2026: When the international wine industry gathers at the ProWein trade fair in Düsseldorf from March 15-17, 2026, the spotlight will focus not only on trends and vintages, but also on brand profiling and product protection. Under the motto ‘The Key To Stunning Product Decoration,’ the expert team behind the KURZ SCRIBOS brand, together with Austrian premium winemaker Willi Opitz, will showcase how distinctive wines can be combined with innovative label technologies. Opitz, internationally renowned for his signature sweet wines and numerous award-winning creations, is a well-established figure in the wine world. His inclusion in the BBC Wine Course by Jancis Robinson is regarded in industry circles as a mark of distinction. Opitz’s independent brand strategy and high quality standards are consistently reflected in his packaging design.

The focus of the trade show appearance will be three KURZ SCRIBOS concept solutions developed for CASAGA, POLE POSITION^®, and PINK KISS^® by Willi Opitz. They demonstrate how TRUSTSEAL^® and TRUSTSEAL^® SFX can be used to create distinctive design accents, three-dimensional effects, and integrated security features within a label concept.

Holographic Design as a Brand Language

The CASAGA wine series is inspired by the legend of a serpent princess from the Lake Neusiedl region. This narrative foundation is reflected in the label through a custom-developed holographic 3D design. Light, reflections, and contrasts shift depending on the viewing angle, giving the design a dynamic, spatial effect. Different color variations allow for clear differentiation between red, white, and rosé wines. The tailored 3D effects support a distinctive visual identity and enhance shelf recognition. TRUSTSEAL^® SFX is deliberately used as a design element to strengthen brand perception at the point of sale and visually emphasize the product’s premium quality.

Motorsport Dynamics with Integrated Product Protection

The POLE POSITION^® wine series by Willi Opitz draws its design inspiration from the dynamic world of motorsports. A custom-developed TRUSTSEAL^® security feature showcases a holographic racing flag. The single-image design combines striking visual appeal with effective product protection. TRUSTSEAL^® holograms offer tamper-evident optical security features that include both visible and covert authentication elements. This enables clear identification of counterfeiting or tampering attempts. Exclusive development for each brand owner further enhances the level of protection. Manufactured using KURZ’s proprietary OVD technology, TRUSTSEAL^® creates a technical barrier against counterfeiting while strengthening consumer and brand trust.

Emotional Brand Staging

The PINK KISS^® rosé by Willi Opitz represents a modern and distinctive brand strategy. The label combines a holographic 3D design with carefully applied color effects. Transparent TRUSTSEAL^® SFX is applied directly onto the printed image, creating a sculpted sense of depth. In addition, TRUSTCOLOR^® is used: The metallic color-shift effect in the lips motif is based on a high-gloss, light-transmitting structure. Depending on the viewing angle, the color effect changes significantly, resulting in a sophisticated visual appearance. The interplay of three-dimensional effects and metallic color shifting creates an eye-catching, premium label design that visually reinforces the brand’s positioning.
